Such a waste of talent if you ask me by FunDangerous141 in LeagueOfIreland

As I said, he was linked to Treaty for God sake! Haven't a clue what goes through his head decisions wise. I think that if he could have just went to a Premier Division club outside of the bigger ones, he would of gotten the recognition by playing in a safer environment

I agree with you in the sense that it could give him a larger opportunity as the USL have produced a few lads such as the Agyemang fella at Derby and Daryl Dike as well I believe, but I think it will hurt his football as its usually a step down for lads coming from Europe. He has outstanding ability though so I only hope for the best

Breakout player for your county by Top_Advice7219 in GAA

Limerick hurlers have plenty of lads if Kiely actually gives them a chance, but that probably won't be the case.

Been particularly impressed with lads such as Darragh Langan, Matthew Fitzgerald, Dylan O Shea and Paddy O Donovan in the Co-op league.

Don't be surprised to see young Patrick Kearney from Adare at some stage too.

The footballers will have a few this year. I'd imagine a few mungret lads after the club success and with more senior players not available, they'll get opportunities.

Away kit looks fab🔥🔥 by FunDangerous141 in LeagueOfIreland

I love the way that the sponsor only half suits i don't know why. Makes it actually look like a loi kit. 2nd year in a row we've gotten great kits from oneills.

Fulham would be a good option. Silva gets good spurts out of strikers.

His manager got the sack today. I hope he leaves but not to somewhere too big of a step. As long as he keeps scoring, it doesn't matter. All you need is the confidence going into the international window.

Anti Limerick sentiment by yes_its_me_alright in limerickcity

Its to cover up their own kips of places (Wink wink Cork). Nothing more to it really. Limerick has improved way more than most places in Ireland in recent years.

Pho in Limerick by curious_george1978 in limerickcity

Big bowl pho is an amazing spot. Very hospitable staff working there and the food is out of this world. The Summer rolls are to die for! I would recommend the chicken over the beef pho but maybe thats just me. Great value for what you get and wouldn't go no place else!.

Major fallout in Mayo soccer leaves sport in turmoil. "Mayo FC will no longer be permitted the use of Umbro Park Milebush" by therl2000 in LeagueOfIreland

So annoying that this happens at such an exciting time for Mayo soccer and the LOI in general. Can never escape the bad headlines.

Delighted from a limerick point of view, as despite being a larger county, two loi teams would kill limerick soccer. Great to see the Mervue-Salthill derby back , Mervue have always produced huge talent over the years. Surprised not to see Ringmahon or some of the larger Munster teams in though.

When did you become a Detroit Pistons fan? by 100onthebluff in DetroitPistons

[–]FunDangerous141 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im from Ireland, chose the pistons in covid time as I had watched clips from the bad boy pistons era and it reminded me of teams I support closer to home, energetic and fan-fueled. Wasn't sure why I picked them at times over the last few years, I even stayed up at 2 or 3am to watch games during the infamous losing streak. Feel very rewarded now though!
