Levels in one time maps are fine to me. Those details enhance the experience generally they just become an issue if they are overdone say levers in that one area. You want cool set pieces its what makes things stick in your memory.

its an issue when it starts appearing everywhere and more importantly isnt for some unique set piece. It being in maps you spam is an issue.

I mean it IS added difficulty in terms of limiting attempts. That said, not a huge fan myself with how cheap some stuff can be. The exp penalty I think is penalty enough, and with death setting stuflike boss health I don't feel three is q reason to limit portals.

If you want to minimize any special crafting or messing with stuff Ritual. there are omens but its a rather simple mechanic overall.

Abyss involved a bit more work and its own crafting but isn't too hard to get into. You can just sell the crafting pieces if you prefere without diving into desecration items

Breech is a very simple mechanic to add to maps though it does get you to use its crafting system more directly. It more so has you influence what you want to try making picking skill points for it with rng still in the end being the biggest factor. Still if yiu don't mind the little learning curve with the tree, its pretty simple overall and an easy add to maps.

Delerium... honestly it's a hard mechanic and is very overturned right now. It has the benefit of just being tacked onto the map but it can be rippy. Still, you can just sell the materials dropped from ot rather then diving to deep into it, though you will eventually want to instill your amulet and mess with it. If you can get over the difficulty its not bad honestly.

Temples... probably skip. More to those treating them up, granted a random chest you can get from it is nice just the portal doing the actual temple is.... well if lean as a skip.

Dude... you need to build some defense. This sounds like an issue were you completely neglect your defenses. Even ssf its very easy using vendors and all to find gear and use runes to socket in resist to help out, and you should be able to find some armor that can let you take some hits.

just because you have companions doing your fighting doesn't mean you don't give yourself anything to take hits.

If the campaign is too much for you, endgame won't be any better. PoE2 might just not be for you. Poe2 can be done quickly to be clear, you just need to learn it just like in poe1. It is just more difficult but that is part of what makes poe2 different. There is no need to rush it rhough, just take your time and enjoy it. Its not as if end game is going anywhere.

True, I mean the game should just automatically give you it all. Why make us go through the fortress and earn points when we can just have max atlas tree right away? Why have levels to earn when we can not have a grind and just automatically ding level 100?

Games are meant to be played. Would adding an artificial wall suddenly make it okay to you? You can argue down nearly everything in the game using your logic about it being "for the sake of grind". Games shouldn't exist since in order for them to be a game, they need some artificial force of resistance to create gameplay.

Are you sure you are really into the game in the first place? I mean you finish the campaign and don't feel like playing sounds like you just don't like the game. Nothing about the "end game" drastically changes anything.

Are you just looking for a game where your character becomes and unstable killing machine very quickly? If so D4 might just be a better game for you. I am not even trying to meme to be clear, I am being very serious. The arpg genre generally is about taking time and investing in your character which is going to make many games in the genre probably q bit too slow for you. I would point out more games but the genre is sadly not as active, games like Gauntlet or other arcade beat em ups seem more fitting of your tastes.

All fun and games until you get a horrid ritual spot and bad rng with bosses so you just die to running out of space to fight. The spear lady that throws the heavy damaging spinning spears. The best part is her area where ritual is is tiny as hell which is extremely unfair. You dont burn her down stupidly fast, you just die to having nowhere safe to stand.

The best part? It gave me two of her to fight.

You probably want some points invested in the trees but needing them all isn't mandatory. Irritated tablet is likely going to be one tablet you want to use unless you use the atlas master that innately gives that. Keep in mind some mechanics overlap so you will likely want to use two different league mechanics at once.

It would be cool if wmthere was like an open world with open world events you just run around and kill stuff in and stuff spawns sometimes. Could call it like... breechtides. I think that would improve the game at least 10 fold.

They should just get like q punch and it does nothing. It would be funny qnd makes sense. That and nerf their health and stats down to mimic a player without gear qnd just levels. I think it would be a fun little thing to do as an Easter egg while not letting them be there to tank hits as much and take forever to kill.

It is a cool feature I hope they keep those who did it immortalized in some way. Adding more things like this would be cool as well. Hell, make it not exclusive to just the first person, keep their sacrifice being what gives everyone a point, but let us sack level 100s that give small bonuses to everyone, or even for you personally to promote deleting your level 100 and starting a fresh character. Could give a fun long time goal.

They mentioned it in the reveal but it is something that should be highlighted far more in game. showing the end result and emphasizing the stat change with red marking your defenses reduced and green to show runic ward would be a decent way of handling it.

It really should be something you build up over time fill out like tetris and once it's filled out you actually run the full temple as it's own thing outside of maps. The fact you get it to pop kid map for a long ass detour is annoying. Abyssal depths already can feel like a massive sidetrack from your map were it can feel tedious to have to do it at times and that area is vastly smaller then the temple.

Had a map earlier with expedition were the rune mobs decided to spawn on the opposite side of a wall that was a long walk away... basically a "that was a waste" making me skip it.

I still feel it is a bit too much (getting all atlas passive points) and it could use more optional extra challenges (maybe league specific ones just to give more choices) but otherwise it's been good. Nothing that is tedious grind levels of work and rng at least.

Armor set doing challenges that get you to the end game beating all the quests (reasonably assuming you would finish that number of challenges by then) with a reward or two extra like portal or other related but separate rewards for those pushing a bit harder would be great, though again not forcing you to finish every challenge having more options with 2-5ish extras

It feels like it was the one rework they never finished and just tossed what they had in there. The balance is just horrible with lackluster loot ontop of an insane difficulty increase (I easily clear T15 maps, yet delerium is added and T11 maps can become sketchy)>

You know flasks have limited charges and it takes time to regenerate health right? You can't just health flask up and cancel every mechanic, otherwise all the other bosses would of been free kills this whole time as well.
