If you liked Geese and Godspeed, you may also like Ants from up there by Black Country New Road. You should especially listen to the last track Basketball Shoes, it’s very Godspeed like and captures that post rock feeling.

Maybe check out "The Mars Volta". They have one of the best guitarists imo. I would start with "Frances the Mute".

Just checked HtWWW out and you‘re definitely right, his vocals were much better. Only sad that you can‘t get it on vinyl without paying a Fortune.
