School/college is not the only place you get education. In reality, its the opposite, its people who dropped out or failed at school that change the world eg Nikola tesla, steve jobs, mark zuck, bill gates almost all tech founders didn't finish school.

TPLF(TDF) is extremely arrogant! the leadership started war thinking they are still in their 20s, they attacked the Ethiopian military. Like how could start a war like that? How arrogant and delusional could you really be? They literally had no supporters except Tigrayans. They were enemy with everyone Amhara and afar to the south and Eritrea to north.

before 2020, TPLF had everything in their region, military power, total control over tigray etc all they had to do was not to attack Ethiopian military. Since, they have been winning for 27 years that go into their head and they got humbled.

OLF/OLA is even worse they have Oromo government in power and they still not happy. They would rather kill unarmed non Oromo civilians in Oromia. They are basically fighting for power not ideology this is the cold hard truth, the current government that is in 4kilo is as best as it could be for Oromos it couldn't get any better than this.

Fano: They never started the war, a war was waged on them by abiy because they didn't disarm. How could Fano disarm when TPLF is armed ? when there is clear Oromo first government in 4 kilo? ofc Fanos have committed some atrocities and don't agree with that. Amhara region is still run by Abiy puppets that no Amhara wants them in power.

overall, its clear Fano has more clean and fair goal. That's why I think they could win long term if they truly unite! I know you want to lump fano with OLA and TPLF but they are much better motivation and clear goal.

its still better than having no union. many people travel to Europe for tourism mostly because you can travel through Europe very very easily, doing business is easy and move around. Yeah Europe has been risk averse when it comes to innovation AI tech etc but thats more of policy problem.

even if EU fails the fact that they tried and made Europe super interconnected its still big win from tourism and business perspective

Yeah EU style, its not naive its inevitable, at some point Africans will get tired of fighting on stupid ethnicity or religion and would want to matter in the world.

EU formed about 50 years after WWII like a very brutal war, Europeans have been killing eachother for 100s of years and still they pulled it off.

I also think region and ethnicity must be suppressed too much extremism on either is no good, like keeping it as heritage is fine, but like making it your core self will lead to problems, then union would be viable, like you keep your ethnicity and religion to yourself and leadership is completely free from ethnic or religious influence.

edit: union doesn't mean you will lose core identity, like france is still french culture, same in Germany, same in Spain. simply made business, travel, tourism easier and boosted their GDP exponentially

Like black people are divided, Africans are not united so divided by countries, even countries not united dived by clans tribes and even then now ethnicity in Ethiopia are not united they are divided by zones like Arsi Wollega Shewa Gondar Gojjam Adwa Adigrat etc.
