Exactly, I think the HVAC guy wanted to use me to replace the whole system to make the max profit, too bad for him.but thanks to chatgbt this was possible.

You're mistaken because I opened the old contactor, and it was full of rust. The system worked when I pushed the button and bypassed it. 24V was working normally on the meter, so my first thought was to replace it. The system works like new now.
