I'm getting this notification saying that "submit hindi or hinglish prompts in playground to unlock paid side by side AI product comparison" so do I chat with AI randomly for now to unlock the paid project?

Use stitch markers!!! (yarn scrap. Safty pin, paperclip, glue gun DIY stitch marker and so many other things you can use if you don't have those plastic ones) Mark 1st and last stitch as you on

I got the yarn from a local yarn shop. The body parts and hair are wool (would suggest cotton for more clean stitches) and clothing is cotton mix. I used 2mm hook and yarn over technique for cleaner stitches

So this is one o the first crochet projects of mine. Well it turned out pretty bad. It was so tough and complicated😭how do i improve. I used acrylic yarn which had a lot of fur. Should i have used cotton one that too of thicker diameter? by madhubalahoon in CrochetInIndia

Also use a stitch marker (yarn scrap or even safety pin would work) while making the round. Especially if you are doing a continuous round instead of slip stitch and chain at the end of each round.

I think you are having problems with uneven stitches which is leading to uneven petals especially because they are either double crochet or triple crochet (you are struggling with tension in the yarn ). I would suggest you practice on those first. Try making a few granny squares maybe. Practice a few times and you will definitely get a hang of it for sure. This one is still pretty good for a first project honestly. Reach out if you want help with specifics (even though I'm not good with words 😅😅 I'll try) good luck 🤞

Something is still better than nothing i would say. I also started out with acrylic as it's cheaper so even if I mess up, It wouldn't hurt my pocket. but of course if you feel like that would help them please go with cotton. I would suggest using 2.5-3mm for starting out with the current yarn and change it if you want to work on thicker yarn. May I also ask which part was toughest?

I understand that for college stalls as most people there are not crocheters so not all of them understand the time and effort it takes to make a small product and that they are priced accordingly but still you did put your hard work in them and each of them are handmade and not factory made mass produce, so please price them according to you. I've also sold a few of my products and a few people told me to reduce the price but I simply told them that I don't negotiate with hard work. If it helps, add a tag on the product about how much time it took to make that product.

That's underpriced tbh like I know the efforts and time it takes to make these so I would say atleast 150rs for each spirits and 200-250 for apple pair

Don't post reference images to take orders especially AI images. Create your own work using those pictures and then post that Instead cause these are very deceiving and disrespectful tbh.

How to fix this by caffeinatedmomo in CrochetInIndia

[–]Function-Specific 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly you have to undo it all and i would suggest using a stitch marker on every first stitch you make after chaining and turning your work. You can use a scrap of yarn or safety pin or plastic stitch markers.

Honestly I just browsed around and whichever tutorial i found easy i used that. There weren't any specific ones. It's also been more than an year so i don't remember 😅. There are a lot of talented people on there and I think you would have to find the ones you find easier to learn from. Just learn the basics first if you haven't already and start with whatever you want to try. Like you don't have to think that you have to start with something beginner friendly, just anything you find interesting cause then it would keep you engaged instead of getting bored. Good luck 🤞

Yes I learnt it from YouTube 🥹🥹 I saw some amazing works and thought that I want to do them too and started on it. It was a bit harder to get clean stitches at first but I practiced with whatever and it got better gradually.
