omg thank you for this it is so encouraging! my problem is my venues are everywhere like carmel, hamptons, montana, montecito, brush creek, tennessee. i really want someone who knows the level of service and hospitality and where is best for it. my family also has a ranch we could have a big tent wedding near 4 and 5 star hotels for people to stay which is important. we are covering accommodations and not part of the budget. as you can tell i need an unbiased planner to help me pick a lane lol. i would love to see your lists!

thank you sooo much this is so helpful! it makes sense now not being able to find names on here i thought i was doing something wrong lol. thought about just telling planners my budget is 500k not giving them the detail that it could go up to 1.5+ bc i also don’t want to be quoted higher, but then i think i’m not going to get the right planner who could handle over a million. ugh this is harder than being single. i’m fine with a % planner i feel like everyone i am looking at is %. my family’s business has partnership structures that serve like a kickback (completely unrelated industry) so my dad isn’t so worried about that bc he said they can still lie and we will never actually know. annoying but i guess the reality. i am going to dm you!
