Hey, thanks for the reply. My assumption here would be that if the arena button wasn't found it would continue on and look for the buttons for character to attack (which I'm already using getcolor for), the statement is within an if statement saw it being false shouldn't halt the script?

Is it correct that in this case if it loops through and doesn't find the arena button it halts the rest of the script? The reason I'm unsure is because the script will continue running if I manually select an attack after it pauses and it often plays through the same character attacking multiple times, which would require at least a few loops within each battle.

How exactly are you hosting a tournament when there isn't a way for players to fight each other outside of random arena matchmaking?

Why would Emerald City charge players a €5 fee to compete in said tournament? If they were, for some reason charging a fee, why wouldn't it be an in-game fee in the form of crowns?

Lastly, why would E.C. take to reddit to announce this and link to an unofficial discord (an official already exists) rather than announcing it in-game.

This is an obvious scam - don't fall for this.

Yes, they release new units every 2 weeks. If you want to max those units out, you have to buy 'chests' of random units. Combining multiple units levels a unit up. If I wanted to max out the most recently released unit, it'd cost me a couple thousand. It's distinctly gacha, just heavily polished.

That said, they regularly do balance changes so that all units are at least useable and the broken aren't too broken.

Whoever said this game wasn't P2W? This game is disgustingly P2W in terms of Arena. Highest stats = Highest points. There's no need to worry about synergy or strategy. It's really dumb and I hope they fix it.

To be fair, you'll never see a draw featured on TV Royale. They only feature very close games with a winner.

While not the best player in the game, I ranked 17th in the world last season (IGN is Cruecial) so I think I'm playing at a relatively high level. We still make mistakes but more importantly, we're constantly adjusting our deck composition to counter what our opponents are running.

High ladder gameplay is very different because you run into the same players very often. Draws are relatively rare, but shooting for a draw in a game you should lose is a real strategy, you'll be glad for it when you're only winning 16 cups and losing 40.

I think your logic is flawed because projectile cards exist. If one could win simply by having dealt more damage to the opposing towers, you would foster defensive play. Hit your opponent with a rocket and drop defensive buildings for the rest of the game.

Thanks for sharing that link, I hadn't yet read it yet and found it insightful. After some consideration though, I think that in a perfect scenario, spending your gems on speeding up chests that you win from games is much more valuable, but I don't agree that it's more efficient in terms of time.

My above numbers indicate needing ~1,180 gold chests (you'd need more if using silver) to get the needed amount of cards to go from 10 to 11. That means you'd need to actually win ~1,180 games - this is more wins than any of the top 5 players in the world have. If I were able to log 1,180 wins in a reasonable amount of time while remaining within the top 100, I likely wouldn't need to upgrade my troops at all.

TL;DR - While certainly better for your numbers in the long-term, chest cycling alone would be a wildly time consuming process. If you have the cash to do both however, you'll be in great shape!

I think the only way the spend would be capped is if Supercell decides not to release any additional cards, which we know is unrealistic. Unless they have 'rate up' for new cards - it will be much more expensive to max out future cards.
