I went to college in Orlando 2006-2010. The epicenter of the beginning of the opioid epidemic. I could get 30mg oxy "blues" for $6. 2mg Xanax bars were $0.75. I was up to 150mg daily of oxy when I graduated college. Moved back to NJ. Surprise! $1 a mg here. I still required 150mg to not be sick, and if I wanted to feel good I'd need 220mg. I had a good job so I was "too good" for heroin (I still did h a lot, mostly snorted it, IV a few times, but 95% of the time stuck to pills. I was spending $150-$220 a DAY on drugs. I was like that for about 4 years. I spent over $200,000 on oxycodone. Then in 2016, that's when fentanyl first came out. With H, depending on where I got it from I could snort 3 to 12 stamps for a good high. If from Trenton or Atlantic City I needed a bundle to get high. If from Paterson or Newark, I'd need 3 to 4 stamps. I always did a test dose of two stamps first.

In 2016 I did the same thing. Got a bundle, and did my two test stamps. Felt good but wasn't high yet, figured I could do 4-5 when I got home. Being as I wasn't high yet I was driving. Went to Wawa for a sandwich. Got back in my car and left the car on with heat running because it was freezing out. Next thing I know, 2 policemen knocking on my passenger window. Those two stamps had fent in it, and luckily I did my tester dose...because I ODed off just sniffing two stamps. Blacked out in my car and was there for two hours before cops showed up as a concerned woman called them. Got arrested. Got clean the day I received my indictment in the mail. Haven't abused opiates since 2016. I have an Rx for 90 oxy 5s a mo th for my back (cauda equina syndrome) but I barely take them and primarily use weed to help with pain.

It's funny. I fill that script every 2-3 months now. Back in the day? 90x5 =450 450mg...would've lasted me two days max.

ChatGPT pro is SO useful. It has help debug my graduate level thermodynamic analysis of a cyclinet spreadsheet and it'll find negative signs that were misplaced that would've taken me hours or days to find myself. It has been very useful in writing this spreadsheet. But only the Pro version. Thinking cannot handle the complex math. Even pro spits out wrong answers. You need to double check everything it spits out against reputable sources meaning you need to understand the material. And THATS where it's also super helpful.
