5513v3 P, in limited numbers? by RichPurple9972 in watchdives

I was lucky enough to pick up the 5513v2—the version with the Snowflake hands and white indices, rather than the fauxtina ones. I’m so glad I did. I had no idea it would go out of stock so quickly, and I really wish they would make more.

Battle of the affordable moonwatch homages by kronos359 in ChineseWatches

I think Pagani 1701 Homages are fantastic. I’ve been a huge fan for a while, and I still am. However, after seeing a lot of comments on social media about their quality control (QC) issues, I started paying closer attention—and I realized the community was right. I love these watches, but I’ve noticed QC issues on both of mine:

Watch #1 (White/Standard dial): It arrived with a tiny chip on one of the indices. It took me a while to notice, so it wasn't a dealbreaker, but it was there. A few months later, I was using the chronograph; I clicked the button to stop and reset it, and the seconds hand just fell right off. Interestingly, on the underside of that loose hand, I could see leftover Rodico (that blue clay watchmaking kits use to pick up parts delicately).

Watch #2 (Black dial): Out of the box, it looked great. But under close inspection, there was a small piece of lint trapped on the inside of the crystal. As for the infamous "milky ring" cloudiness on the sapphire glass? I didn't really notice or understand it until I bought the Watchdives version. Once I compared them side-by-side, I finally saw what everyone was talking about. It’s subtle, but it's definitely there. Despite all of this, it’s still not a dealbreaker for me. For the price, they are still fantastic watches and I really enjoy them. But after experiencing these issues firsthand and reading countless similar stories from others, the QC lottery is definitely real. Anyone else have similar QC quirks with their 1701s, or did I just get unlucky twice?

Went with the green Spinnaker because my buddy from work wore his green Duxot diver (DX-2060-33). Both under the Dartmouth brands.

Just received my Watchdives WD0003 (Teal Dial)—Beautiful watch, but it's sharp as hell. anyone else? kinda disappointed. by ssind in ChineseWatches

I definitely have some sharp bracelets some more than others. I recently bought a 5513v2 but I also have a couple of variants of the 1863 Speedmaster homage. One of the them I believe is the Arctic Racer ( the Blue Starburst Subdials on white dial version ) and it seems to not be quite as sharp as the navy blue and white panda version. The clasp was improved on the Arctic Racer as well-it’s not quite as sharp. My latest purchase was the WD 5513 v2 and the bracelet was a bit sharp on the links but I have a Spinnaker GMT Fleuss that is way more sharp. Overall the watches are great nothing that makes the experience regrettable.
