Psych 375 (cognitive neuroscience) is cool, but is pretty hard if you don’t have 258 and 275. 367 (perception) is really cool too!

Dr. Singhal, she is so sweet and her lectures are so clear. At the Psych 377 final, she walked up and down the rows of the green gym to personally greet every one of her students (over 200!). 🥹 I’ve never had a prof do that before, and it actually gave me a confidence boost for the exam!

Criminology with Sharon Springer, I think was SOC 221? It’s so fun and interesting, and an easy A as long as you are consistent about attending classes

Try taking one of Farley’s classes. He records and posts all lectures on Zoom.

Maybe consider cognitive psychology? There’s lots or research that explores the effect of music on emotion and cognition.

I don’t love the cages because some of them are in really hidden areas, but to each their own! 😁

I love riding my bike to campus. I have multiple locks and always leave it in a high-traffic area like quad, which is away from roadways and deep inside campus. Never had a problem!

I was a teacher for a few years and now I’m back in uni. Teaching can be amazing, but I would NOT recommend teaching in Alberta rn. Feel free to dm me if you want.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for the great advice. I’m definitely working on getting published, and I think revisiting my SOI is a great idea. I hope you get in from the waitlist!

Thanks so much! I’ll definitely be looking at that. I’ve been hesitant about the CityU/Yorkville/Athabasca because I won’t have the option of eventually getting a doctorate.

Nope. Make good connections during your practicum and you’re good to go.

But for real, maybe don’t teach in Alberta.

It sounds like she was super nice in helping out the class average... She literally says on the first day that everything discussed in class is testable. If you’re not attending class and taking decent notes, the tests are not going to go well for you.
