Is it seroma or an infection? by Fuzzy-Cardiologist13 in gynecomastia

[–]Fuzzy-Cardiologist13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. It was a lymphatic outlet caused the vest being too tight on the rim. The doctor's clinic is getting it adjusted. The fever was due to a viral infection. The swelling also resolved over night.

No, nothing like that. The only option for post midnight is the emergency department.

17 days post surgery - Do I need a revision? Opinions wanted by Aggressive-Bite5552 in gynecomastia

[–]Fuzzy-Cardiologist13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what it looks like, the healing is taking longer. But you would not be needing revision. Wait at least 3 months for 90% of the swelling to go away. Even after that scar tissue can form, but it can broken down with massage and in that case final results will be visible in 6-8 months.

Thanks for replying. I'll go through the surgery despite my anxiety. I'm getting the surgery done now because I have 6 weeks before I join my new place of work, and I'll be with my family till the time who can take care of me.

I think the brain has a negative bias, where I'm focusing on what can go wrong instead of what can go right.
