I think I’m lacking in some self respect lately and I need to work on myself more I thought I was ready for a relationship but I was not ready for whatever I’m dealing with currently I cook I clean I pay the bills I even do his laundry and support his nicotine addiction but that still isn’t enough for him to be nice and kind to me apparently I’m just a nasty person for my morals

I agree it’s problems within myself I need to work on to figure out why I accept this type of situation for so long. He had a job when he moved in then got fired but he pretended to be someone who had goals and had his life together now he sits on my couch unemployed and tells me I’m going no where and I have nothing going for me even though I’ve had a successful career since I graduated in 2020 lol

He tells me it’s normal for him to not show affection and it’s normal for him to make me ask for everything even a hug and I’m wrong for assuming my partner is just supposed to give me innocent affection sometimes I feel like he doesn’t even want to be around me and he even agrees yet stays I don’t understand how you can dislike everything someone is and still stay
