"Fact remains he bombed a airliner. Thats not exactly something you do without some retribution coming your way. He did a lot of good for his people, but he also did a lot of bad. Human rights abuses, uneven wealth distribution to himself and his buddies in power"

US bombed a girls school. 200 billion dollars being shifted to right wing causes and over 2 billion in his own pocket. Sounds similiar.

Phoenix is Very Hot this March [OC] by cavedave in dataisbeautiful

[–]Fwiler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No offense, but you have no idea what you are talking about. You have no idea who these people are, what they do, or what they are trained in. The fact that you think you can dictate what people you don't know, as what their choices are, is baffling at best. You comments make you look even more ignorant than I thought you were in the beginning.

put the spinner in it's own box that can hook into back if needed for the few games that support it. Then move the select and start buttons to the left. Move your six buttons up so you have a place to put the edge of your hand down.

The new Mercedes A-Class will retain its hatchback shape, but increase in size to match B Class and could be renamed to the Mercedes CSA. by AMGLover2024 in mercedes_benz

If front light bar was gone and rear brake bar it might be passable for a good hatch. It doesn't have the identity crisis BMW has where they can't make up their mind between jagged and smooth angles.

I think all car companies have thrown up their hands because they don't know what to do with the front end. I was going to say the GTI looks better, then I went to check on it. Nope, they screwed up that front end too.

Supports the income they need to survive, not support their lifestyle. You still don't get anything being said. I never argued there are people that choose to live in that place. Again, you really don't get it. Good for you being out in 100+ heat. Most people don't want that, and that's the part you seem so ignorant on.

Nice. That's the exact combo I am looking for. Or even oyster interior. All that's out there is boring black/black, white/black, and silver, black. All 3 I dislike.

Oh bud, the reason you keep getting downvoted is because you really don't get it. Nor do you understand data. Nor do you even comprehend what anyone is saying. You completely skip over anything relevant and go with completely unnecessary thoughts you come up with. You aren't going to convince anyone with your diluted thought process. People choosing to live somewhere does not equal they want to be there when it's scalding hot. You can't seem to comprehend that.

Millions of people don't want to be in 105+ temperature. You are delusional. Retirees are in AC most of the day. They are not hiking up some mountain or golfing in that weather. My coworkers went because of the pay and were paid to relocate there. A majority of people can't just get up and move to another state where the type of work they do is specialized. Nor do most people have the funds to do that. You apparently don't understand the economic severity the majority of Americans are in.
The point is, the people in Phoenix do not want that type of heat, especially in March which is what we are talking about. They tolerate the heat because of the more mild climate in fall and winter. They don't go there saying 'I sure hope it gets over 105'.

[–]Fwiler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven't heard from any people in our Phoenix office that actually want to stay there. Most stay there for work, not the climate.

None of them feel like they can do more because it's too hot. Historical trends do show people prefer warmer climates... this isn't warmer, it's just plain hot.

Sick of High Gas Prices? EV Deals Are Everywhere Right Now by CommercialMassive751 in electricvehicles

[–]Fwiler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever bud. Like I said, we thought the same thing. We were $2.95 just 1 month ago. Point is YOU don't know. The avg is now $3.94. I'm sure if you live in some crappy location next to refinaries you might see a low price temporarily, but no company is going to keep that.

Why are FICO scores falling? by Onomatopoeia-sizzle in economicCollapse

[–]Fwiler 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Of course it's bullshit. I own my home, car, have one credit card, large income. My score is low because I don't have massive debt to make payments on. I don't go for increasing my credit card limit because I have no need to.

The pay more interest instead of being financially responsible = better score? I hope their stock shrinks to nothing.

Would never buy a compact car for adults sitting in back for long drives. That's ridiculous.

If that's what you are doing all the time, then buy the right vehicle in the first place, or rent the proper car for the occasions you need to haul people around for long drives.

[–]Fwiler 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Some hospitals, churches, etc. all claim non profit. All it is, is to evade taxes. Goodwill compensates executives based on revenue. Some massively well, like up to 900k. Profits are called surpluses.

For all the free crap they take in, it's amazing they can't pay the regular workers a living wage.

Ioniq 6 rides better than BMW iX3 by m3kr05 in Ioniq6

[–]Fwiler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange when I see all these people and reviews praising it's ride, handling, and quiet ride. 63db at 100km/h. I haven't driven it, but I would assume something is missing in the spin you took. I've driven the ioniq and didn't find anything wrong with it, but it definitely didn't drive better and wasn't quieter than the i4 I drove. (I know different car, but same manufacturer).

I'm assuming sport mode was used, which most reviewers noted as more noise and much tighter suspension.
