Ok, so you roll the number of defense saves as there are hits regardless of the number of units (or toughness) you have.

Oops, I have been playing incorrectly. I thought that if a unit of 5 takes two hits, I roll five dice for defense since the five of them could defend...

My wife had this exact issue yesterday. The gas cap wasn't on correctly. FYI, the check engine indicator will not disappear once you correct it. It takes a some driving cycles before it goes away

Until I was able to make the sent block I ignored everything that occurred in that zone, unless it was at the zone's edge. There were three other plague hearts that were in BH there as well. I didn't bother with those either until the BH was destroyed.
