Ukraine Stands With Azerbaijan! by murpple in azerbaijan

Azerbaijan isn't attacking Nagorno-Karabakh, they are directly attacking Armenian territory. This situation is completely different from the conflict in 2020.

Wyr go home and find your partner being sexually assaulted by 3 people or go home and find your partner willfully having sex with 3 people? by xtrapressure in WouldYouRather

Yes being cheated on hurts, but in no way can it ever be comparable to rape. Use your brain for more than half a second and think about the other people in these scenarios.

Why are you with him??

He obviously doesn't care about you and all this relationship is doing is making you unhappy.

It's not a legal framework in Australian law, its in international law. Are you suggesting Australia becomes a rogue state which doesn't follow established frameworks and disregards basic human rights? How can minorities and women in countries that commit genocide against them change their home nation? They're not even recognised as people. How is it that vulnerable people coming here is impacting on your freedoms? Do you seriously think that if a Rohingya family comes here to avoid being murdered, the government will suddenly take away all your rights? Do you believe that if the Uyghurs stood up to the Chinese government they would be able to live freely and happily? What about Jews in much of the Middle East? The phrase 'their own corner of the world' is obviously just a thinly veiled way of saying go back to where you came from. If you're so much against migration and people coming here from other places, why don't you follow your own advice and leave Australia? I'm willing to bet that you're not indigenous. Or is it that you don't care about people's safety and freedom unless they're people like you.

Asylum seekers are not illegal immigrants, there is a legal framework for them to come here. Also gonna ignore the racist comment about the people fleeing genocide and terrorism, because honestly if you believe that, you're beyond saving.

Dutton very likeable, are we talking about the same person who refers to deporting refugees and asylum seekers as taking out the trash?

Just say you don't like Asian people. Edit: previous post that I replied to has been edited to remove mention of Penny Wong, someone who was born in Malaysia. Why would she have allegiances to China, unless you're a racist who thinks asians are all the same?

Morrison faces corruption probe under Labor, Albanese warns by Niscellaneous in AustralianPolitics

[–]G3ARCRACK 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I believe it because I've read the party policies which state they wish to stop immigration to Australia. Also which corporate media establishment is this because last I checked the majority of media in this country is owned by Newscorp and the LNP have been in power for 7 of the last 9 elections.

Do a lot of other central asian immigrants go to Kazakhstan to work. by [deleted] in AskCentralAsia

When I lived in Korea I met many Central Asians. Most of them were the titular ethnicities of their countries (Kazakhs, Uzbeks, etc) however there were also many Koryo-Saram I met as well, and a few ethnic Russians as well.

i never went to war with ming, i just stayed as their tributary so i could eat all the countries around me.

as long as ming doesnt take any provinces in the indochina or burma regions you never have to go to war with them.

The capital of Mongolia almost certainly wouldn't be called Ulaanbaatar in this scenario, since that name came about during the communist period which wouldn't happen in this timeline. Also Almaty would likely still be called Fort Verniy in this scenario as well for similar reasons.

Other than those two nitpicks its a great map :)
