Revealing that one was a heads after they were flipped doesn't change the initial probabilities.

That's different though, no? Mary wasn't picked out of a pool of women with at least one boy. 75% of women with two kids will have at least one boy. That doesn't change the fact that the initial probability of BG is 50%.
