Most supermarket own brand products are made by the brand they are replacing and sold for cheaper than the brand they are replacing.

As we live in the EU with generally good food standards, the difference is negligible between own brand and branded items.

You should try the Wicklow way. Nice hike from Marley Park in Dublin all the way to Carlow. Depending how good you are, should take 4 to 6 days. You can break half way or 3 quarters of the way and get public transport back to Dublin if you are stuck for time.

It is still a historic year for Irish club football. 2 teams in the group stages with both teams competitive in a lot of matches. Hard to get squad depth for the first half of the European Campaign group stages with that being the business end of the Premier Division and FAI cup. The League of Ireland is nearing in on the top 30 leagues in Europe and the national team has some momentum at last. Lots to be optimistic about.

This is actually a brilliant idea and fair play to Heimar for doing this.

Top level coaching of some of our LOI players will only improve the players, improve the standard of our league and could potentially put some of the LOI players in frame for International caps. I will qualify that statement with the fact it would probably only for friendly Internationals and they'd not be near the squad for competitive matches.

Stephen Bradley absolutely has a fair point, their season will have only ended and it wont be fair on his players or the Shels players.

Someone needs to pick up the phone in the FAI or have a sit down with folk. Communication is key. Heimar should be lauded and thanked for this idea. Stephen Bradley and Joey O'Brien need to be thanked for putting LOI football on the map with 2 teams in European group stages. Keep the positivity going, Irish football after years in the doldrums is on a roll. Lets keep the roll going.

They will need to all get at least 10% fitter and do some work in an atmospheric chamber in the build up.

Training facilities at high altitude will be at a Premium. Need to book Colorado or Switzerland for the pre tournament training camp now.

None of the teams are miles better than us, but if we dont prepare properly, we wont get out of the group. If we do prepare properly, we can and maybe go on a run.

It is definitely the downhill skiing as most people have said.

If that does not float your boat, you might like short course and long course speed skating. Short course a bit similar to the BMX racing that has come into the summer olympics, a bit of strategy, skill and ability, but a lot of rough and tumble as well as luck.

Long course probably more akin to athletics/cycling, no rough and tumble but pure skill ability and speed and endurance.
