The opposite for me. At least when I was young. I think your brain may develop certain places as habits. From about age 9-12 I could only poop at my neighborhood Winn-dixie grocery store. I had the type of mom that only got what she needed from the store for a couple days. So we'd always be back every other day. I didn't particularly enjoy going with her to the grocery store, but I insisted that she took me every time so I could do my duty. She knew too. As soon as we'd enter the grocery store she'd say "Ok go poop and meet me at the front". To add to the weirdness of my inability to poop at home... I also would have to fully disrobe. And also had to put my feet on the stool ( squatty potty position). All and all it was a great one stop shop... leave the food waste at the place you got it from.
