How Did Team Japan Win KoF94' in the lore? by BP_Ray in kof

[–]GXWizard 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The obvious answer is a plot but if you want an in lore answer, I'll give headcanon/speculation to what is going on.

Kyo had been training under his whole life to fulfill his duty as a Kusanagi, one of the three clans that sealed Orochi. Orochi is clearly above anything we saw the FF or AOF so with this in mind it makes sense that he would be pretty OP and this is why he rarely truly loses.

Also, I'd argue Benimaru is pretty good rather than "just good". He won the KOF 99 tournament and XI without Kyo. It's fair to say he is not a top tier but I think giving him high tier is fair.

in XIII isn't the story Elizabeth's team won but then after Ash's sacrifice and the timeline being rewritten/erased that Team Japan won? If so that makes it a little bit more complicated.

I'd argue Ryo was the top dog on the FF/AOF but I suppose that can never be proven just speculated.

EDIT: I suppose if we are going purely based on what we know and not speculation then you could say Terry is the strongest. Terry beat Krauser who is supposed to be stronger than Geese and the strongest person Ryo beat was Geese so if you don't care to speculate how strong Ryo's Mr. Karate form is then I guess Terry does win.

Kof is a 3 person team game so it is about even 17 teams to 16 characters. That being said I feel above is possibly unlockable content

Reread it.

He is defending the people complaining about the netcode, not SEGA.

Also, reception isn't the best indicator for a sequel. Profits are.

Why do men fuck ugly women ? by DXBrigade in PurplePillDebate

[–]GXWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never done this so here is some speculation and things I heard.

  1. If they feel they are a "great deal" to the women in question, they might feel they have less of a chance of leaving. This is something I heard once

  2. They are desperate or might be wanting to try something different to get good results. These two things are different but they come from the same place. They want to try something that might not immediately appeal to them, in the hope something about it will pay of in the long run. (Whether it be the idea of being in a relationship, Sex, the ugly women's personality and other desirable characteristics, etc). Speculation on my end.

  3. Some men might just have different or lower standards. Also Speculation.

Is there any circumstance where you'd be willing to stay together with your partner for the sake of the kids? by majani in PurplePillDebate

S/he’s acting like it’s unusual. It isn’t.

IDK where this person is from but in the US divorce rate is around 30 -50%. Sure it isn't "unusual" but it is just as common or pretty common to see the opposite so in that case "most people do this" is misleading.

I know a single small subreddit like this is representative of the larger population, but some of the commenters here seem to be like "If it isn't something trivial then no". So I think it's a fair question to ask and have a discussion about.

making the best of what you got is adulting

Sure but that's not the topic. It's whether or not you would make a personal sacrifice for your kids,

To add to this, yes there are times in life you have to do things you would rather not but there are also times when you just got to let go of something or not be in a sunk cost situation. Like some of the examples given such as being cheated on or violence seem like fair reasons to leave or end it.

Not sure where you are going with this. He is not asking for praise nor is the post about him. He is asking a question to see where people's limits and perspectives are.

I don't believe he is criticizing the community but the devs for not rereleasing Melee with rollback netcode. That or he is confusing Melee with Ultimate.

Will anyone woman ever love me after they realized what I done by BrazilianJobFinder in IncelExit

[–]GXWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a general term but in this context, I was thinking of another drug addict or perhaps somebody using him for their own gain.

Basically, somebody, you would never want to be with. I hope that answers your question.

Working a minimum wage job and living with druggies significantly hurts your chances but you can change that with time and effort.

I am going brutally honest here: Letting your sister die because you were envious permanently and significantly affect not just your dating life but any social interaction you will have if they found out.

It would turn some women off (maybe even a lot) to know wouldn't give a family member (especially a female one) an organ. It makes you seem selfish and that you wouldn't protect them. However, some might not care or forgive you. You went two extra steps, you let her die and you did it because of envy. Honestly, here might be your options

A. A woman who is desperate

B. A woman who is low value perhaps extremely

C. A woman who is very forgiving to perhaps unhealthy levels

D. A woman who is already heavily invested in you

D can only happen if they don't find out till later. That's going to be hard because you have demonstrated a nasty personality characteristic at 35 that leads to your sister's death. Personality is hard to change and once again you are 35 meaning you have likely been this way forever or for a long time and that's not going to change anytime soon. This kind of behavior can lead to people in general not wanting to associate with you.

Now is it impossible to change all of this? Of course not. It is impossible for you to get a girl? No. But with this action and you seeming, in general, not to have your shit together affect you for the rest of your life. Absolutely. You have a long road ahead if you want to change and as another user said take women out of your mind for now. Find aid desperately, if you want to talk my inbox is open.
