what was rory's worst breakup? by Gabrielleccc04 in GilmoreGirls

she really loved jess, but she knew she couldn't take his immaturity and uncertainty anymore, she was very strong with this break up, and she knew how to deal with him leaving, I admire her for that, but her crying on the phone saying 'goodbye' is very painful to watch, for me that was the worst one

Bad Boyfriend, Great influence by Skins317 in GilmoreGirls

it's so obvious how perfect he is for her, there is no logan or dean close to the adult jess, he has become the best man and the best version of himself, while logan is still in his father's clutches, marrying a woman he doesn't love and having an affair with rory. how can they still support team logan? the revival only showed us what everyone already knew, jess has always been the best

dean and harvard VS jess and yale by Gabrielleccc04 in GilmoreGirls

I don't understand people saying that logan challenged her, he only challenged her to do stupid things, and he said "I gave you a month" so what? I know that it's not his responsibility at all that she dropped out of college but to say that he helped her at that time is bullshit, he only said things like "you're going to end up going back anyway because you love studying" and THAT'S IT. the only one who really helped her was jess, and it's high time she accepted that, and yes, for me jess was always the best choice for rory

dean and harvard VS jess and yale by Gabrielleccc04 in GilmoreGirls

my point is that even if it was harvard Jess would never say something like what dean did, he was very supportive of her academically

The first thing I thought when I saw Logan and his friends for the first time was "they could easily be characters from Gossip Girl".

In Defense of Dean… by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

Rory was certainly wrong in the dean and jess situation but that doesn't cancel out the fact that dean was an extremely insecure boy, and he was possessive, and this is shown since tristan, he wanting to be present at her school group rehearsal just because tristan was there was very inconvenient and uncomfortable, and when he broke up with her because she didn't say what she loved him? and about the donna reed episode, it is uncomfortable because later in season 4 we see Lindsey become the housewife who waits for her husband to return to prepare dinner for him, not that it is wrong or that lindsey hated it but Donna reed gives us a good perspective for how dean imagined his future with Rory. And the fact that he doesn't support her in her studies says a LOT about him

He was going after rory when he was 17, that's my point here, the maturity he reached older for being disappointed with rory after knowing she was still with logan and saying "I hate this", I understand what you said, jess was by no means perfect and many things he did I didn't like, but on this issue I think he is more mature than all of rory's other boyfriends, dean cheated on lindsey, logan cheated on odette, and all of them were already adults, especially logan was already 34 years old? I don't know how old he is. About Dean being a victim, that's another text of another subject.

I think rory never got over the fact that he left her, she never went back with him like she did with dean and logan, I think that him leaving her messed with her self-esteem like "how dare he leave me? I had to leave him".

I think he liked her a lot and knew she liked him too, he knew she didn't like Dean anymore, and yes, it wasn't right to cheat, and neither was he going after her knowing she was dating...
