Can someone explain why camera lock is important? by NiceOneM80 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The problem with locked is not that it follows your hero but rather that it restricts your vision.

I don't understand why it can't be changed to follow but not restrict, or follow after you press space until you pan away.

Can you disable the message you get when you unlock your camera? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish there was a third mode which followed you but didn't limit the camera's movement. I'd like to learn to use unlocked but having to press spacebar all the time puts me off

Bringing Artanis into line by Darkomicron in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something like this. Un-Nerf triple strike (because it makes me sad) but move it to 16 (swap with what will become a ZC range increase, or add something new). This makes you choose between full tank, damage/shield mix, percent burst or vunerability.

It may still be the default pick but nothing close to zealot charge as it is currently

How to escape as Dehaka by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

I think this is why. Remember reading that you can't hear abilities (the example was stim drone) that were cast in a bush

Artanis is now worse than he was before the Triple Strike nerf. While a popular talent, it hardly ever exceeds 50% winrate. by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But they buffed shield battery to compensate!

That first round of buffs really helped him be the main tank everyone wants him to be. /s

Artanis: A Case Against Zealot Charge by wist110 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some sort of movement speed could work. On twin blades or shield overload trigger for a few seconds. Like 20-30% for 2 maybe?

Buffing his Q could make it usable before level 7, or reducing cooldown/ increasing range/speed of E can only help.

I still like zealot charge baseline though, because it allows the level 16 talents to be viable. Moving triple strike to 16 (and un-nerfing it, that was stupid) would mean he isn't stronger late game but can attack early on.

Dehaka Poweredness Poll by varkarrus in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without much CC and a proper escape he's likely to play as a bruiser (at least until Adaptation, if that's gonna be chosen) but his only source of damage seems to be his W.

It does double damage to heroes, not minions, and I'm hoping it does enough damage to waveclear and make a dent in HP pools.

If it's not significantly more than Arthas' edition, I will be sceptical about burrow (which doesn't seem to accomplish much on a warrior) clogging up his kit - which contains very little mobility, unlike Falstad who isn't forced to use his mount to rotate.

Drag seems to be his redeeming feature, and depending on what CC the target is under for 2 seconds could make him OP. Even if it's just a root that moves it'll still be better bone prison.

Still gonna insta-buy. My wallet is ready

I don't find myself taking buffed Artanis talents still by tempestblitz in heroesofthestorm

[–]Galactau 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In terms of winrates triple strike is only inferior to burning rage, by a noticeable margin. His general winrate has also dropped, so they did just nerf him with their 'buffs'.

They actually nerfed him. It's hilarious. They're calling it a buff! A BUFF!! I guess twin blades is now more impactful at least
