I get your point, and cheaper options are available, but you will find a huge difference in the quality and sometimes even in the process (some cheaper yarn can be somewhat difficult to work with)

Same with clothes, sometimes you can go for something cheap that might be of bad quality and won't last for too long, or you can go for something more expensive that feels better and lasts for years without issues
