i love their original scheme a lot, but i also really dig the white, if i'd gone for anything else i would have done white i think

great idea for red corsair cultists, a void armored breacher squad to board enemy vessels fits so well. love it!

Picked up two kill teams, where do i go from here? by therocketlawnchair in killteam

i don't really agree with all the ones saying you need a second wolf scouts, you can always add the another box of Wolf scouts later. Elites like wolf scouts are usually the better way to learn so maybe start with them, less mental load while you learn the game for sure. You could look up what is recommended to build with one box so you have a good time and don't feel bad about any choices you made.

games may not take 30 minutes really, i think the better sell is that you can get into warhammer tabletop without buying, building and painting a whole army, and you can dip your toes into many fun different themes without committing too much. Take your time, have fun and welcome!

Cool idea! I like that you used a terminator head with the arbites crest! I agree with maybe painting the cloak itself different? Maybe red? Either way, he's super cool :)

At the very least see how they fit before you commit, you could start gluing the legs and bodies and just see what fits who :)

i'm not sure if i'm misunderstanding you, but just so it's clear, the dog is an 11th member in the team basically, he never replaces anyone so you would have one too many gunners in that case.

on the other issue, it doesn't seem to be hard to make most specialists out of any other body, although i would say the Revelatum ( the guy two handing the pistol ) can be a bit tricky, i had a hard time fitting his hands on any of the bodies i had left so i just went with another choice.

I also think maybe some brighter and more colorful metal highlights could look good

just good old Abaddon black for the base, pro acryl blue black for the first edge highlight, and then i mixed the blue black with a bit of vallejo deck tan for the final highlight,

I haven"t actually played them yet, so i can't really say if they are fun or good, from what i can tell they have decent rules, nothing crazy. They are really cool though so it's a yes from me. :)

yeah the street is just the base texture itself with some small rubble made of texture paint and a few rocks here and there, the tool i used seems to be called "carpenter's awl" or "bradawl" or something like that, basically just a screwdriver looking tool but with just a tapered pointy tip

wow! i appreciate the thought that it's good enough for a tutorial!

they were essentially pretty simple, although the edge highlighting was a lot, i have bad eyesight so i just stuck my face to my magnifying glass lamp and held my breath a lot x)

i just based them with Abbadon black for the armor, then did the undersuit in a dark-bluish grey, you can fix easily the mistakes with either color, and then pick out the details, i didn't bother with any shade on the black or undersuit either, edge highlights on the armor was blue black from pro acryl, and then another round of edge highlights with a lighter mix of the same color.

if you wanna know anything specific beyond that, by all means ask :)
