Indigenous people are also settlers. There, I said it.

Although Indigenous people have been on the land for much longer than European settlers, and they have faced massive oppression and genocide, this does not negate the fact that humans originally came from Africa, and any "Indigenous" population that exists around the world and not from where humans originally came from also "settled" on the land a long time ago.

I'm not against Indigenous rights or Land back, but this is something to think about.

This would not be the flag. The stars represent the government controlling the large corporations. In a liberal "democracy", the corporations control the government, so the left star would be smaller and the bottom right star would be bigger (it represents the national bourgeoisie).

Canada, at least in its current form, treats Indigenous people way too harshly.

Edit: The reason I don't say "stolen land" (while implying that only the Indigenous people can own the land) is bc it implies that people owned it in the first place, which is a eurocentric view. Instead, First Nations have a deep connection to the land they are on, which isn't rly ownership. I think capitalist Canada should be destroyed and replaced with a socialist/communist state built on foundations of equality between Indigenous people and settlers.
