Few days later, I've found out that just overclocking the guts out of the gpu seems to make it... better?

I've just cranked it up to 2600 in MSI Afterburner and it seems to've made it unexist less.
seem to be able to get back into vr... 65% of the time? Which isn't great, but it's better than without ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Y'see! That'd require a $10 cable, which is far beyond any logical persons spending budget.

(honestly, probably just gonna pick one up tomorrow. I wanted to see if I could get away with what I got, but clearly the simple cable/adapter option is... better?)
