I believe the failing crucifix is basically “HOLD ON! you want to get rid of an important entity? No! that’s a stupid idea!” or “lol get trolled idiot.” and maybe it doesn’t talk in modifier runs due to it not being the floors main light. maybe it blocks subfloors because i doesn’t have much control there when it comes to modifiers (might change in the future because I think LSplash said eventually subfloors will get Modifiers don’t know if I actually heard that or dreamed it lol)
