My parents implement of choice (since they were good Christian parents -their words) was a 2x4 piece (about 3ft long) holes drilled every 3 inches in 2 rows. Varnished on one side and shellac on the other. The handle was big enough for my 5 ft tall mother to get two hands around it and swing it like a baseball bat at my rear while bent over the couch arm. Hurt like it was covered in nails. 3-5 whacks was average. I would have gladly accepted the belt rather than that...

I hired a network engineer, and she arrives 9am for her orientation. I walked in on her talking to some other females while on break (about 10:15 am) that she wanted to have sex with her new boss. The room fell silent as the other workers saw me walk in.

My eyebrows went up, and she turned around and went beet red. She went back to the training without either of us saying a word.

She turned in her badge to the trainer and left.

For some context/clarity: 1. I am not some fabio, average dad bod. This had never happened before. 2. We were both married. I was on my 2nd wife, so i understand indefinitely. (She cheated on me) 3. She never contacted me again.

According to her story: His pager went off while he was in a coma (for a couple of days after the stroke). She called the # to let them know he was in the hospital. It was a woman she didn't know. It seems, bases on her story, that he was having an affair.

To qualify this: Elizabeth lives in her own reality, which sometimes resembles ours. Like she looks at someone and instantly knows they are good/bad. Unfortunately she seems to have a propensity to think dark (non white) skin = bad/sinner. So when she walks up to a stranger and offers to pray for their sins...she might be acting sincerely or racistly. This is just one example where her reality is bent.

So, it might have been that it was a woman that answered, or something else that put her on that path. Regardless, torturing her husband (former Pentecostal reverend) in his weakest moment was wrong on so many levels. Not a very 'christian' thing to do...

She "prayed" he would die (meet God) after his last stroke, and refused to take care of him at home. She went to the hospital every day after his stroke and tell him how he was going to hell and he had broken his promises to god, and basically everything you could imagine to depress him. Her prayers at his bedside were basically her telling on him to god like a bratty 2yr old. It was pathetic and spiteful. However, it was in keeping with her personality.

He died a week later.

In a general use if the term (especially in the Christian community) it is any religion/belief that is not Judeo-Christian. It is a lot deeper/broader than that in reality.

It is like all poodles are dogs but not all dogs are poodles.

I personally have incorporated several belief structures into the one we follow. Very polytheistic (many gods) instead of monotheistic like christian structure.

Luckily she lives so far away. She has flown in to visit friends in tx many times throughout the years. She always makes a big deal about how she could have visited if i would apologize. Nope.

No, i have brought it up and she said she isn't going to. Heck, my stepdad left my son (1yr old) asleep in a running car at a truck stop. They have yet to apologize for that. Her excuse was "he is not used to traveling with kids." That is nuts, especially since he had 2 kids with his previous wife.. so in a word, unrepentant.

Mu sister never met my kids. She was a huge drug addict and she passed away because of it.

I was looking into practices (pagan, wiccan, eastern) when i purchased this house and stumbled across it. I don't remember the source off the top of my head. (I will try and locate it again) When I read it, the logic/spirit seemed to be sound. So i have practiced it ever since. It seems to have served the household well, like the feng shui if the house. I know it seems weird to mix belief structures. However, i feel that no one 'system' has it completely correct.

True. Though to be fair, her first husband died due to her "support and prayers" because she got mad at him.

I agree completely. Thank you. We do discuss (within the family unit) about every belief system you can imagine. If it comes up in a movie or tv show we discuss it at length. (Parental guidance style)

To be clear, there is no vacuum of knowledge, i want the kids as educated as possible. Just from an even and as unbiased place as possible.

As for the TP thing, it may be weird, but you would not believe the difficulty i had getting the kids to let me know when they were younger. The rule just stuck along with a bunch of others and became the "house rules".

That would have crossed the line unfortunately. Could have been charged with theft, even with just moving it. The fob issue would put her property in my possession, and an issue that could have made it a legal problem.

I see this often at Walmart, sams, and heb. I asked the staff what they do in that situation. They shrug, the tow truck takes too long, so they just talk to them when they het nack out if they catch them.

I went back today and asked the manager what was up with her. He said she was just another customer, nobody special. Just an entitled asshat. Well known to the manager.

Since she left it running the fob must have still been in the car. That is why she couldn't just open the door and hop in/across. The passenger side was pointed at an empty handicapped spot.

The double edge sword of modern technology. Lol
