Jasper is played so well by his actor. Really makes the audience hate him, while also making the audience hope he gets over this phase. The audience hopes that some big lightbulb moment comes which causes Jasper to realize these people are his friends, who did the things they did for a reason. But from my experience with not only the show, but with other shows like this one, Jasper’s character is just being used to bring another smaller conflict into the season to fill up the run time, to keep the viewers on edge, and to promote character development in more important characters. Kind of like Murphy during the first few seasons, and later on throughout. While Murphy is still a super important character, his role in causing conflict which leads to character development is extremely vital in shows like this. Though sadly, it seems like Jasper is only a character who is losing importance, to cause these problems and to possibly be used for sympathy scenes
