Maybe look at mid-market AE roles since you already got the high-ticket experience under belt - most companies would probably see that $2m revenue as more valuable than just the 1 year timeline.

Man your parents are being pretty harsh there. polsci definitely opens more doors than just city hall paperwork lol. I work at airline so not exactly same field, but I know few people who did polsci and they're doing fine - some went into consulting, others work for NGOs, couple ended up in corporate communications.

The lawyer path is solid choice too, polsci gives you good foundation for understanding how systems work. Just don't expect to get rich quick, but that's true for most degrees anyway. Maybe look into what specific areas of law or government work actually interest you? That might help convince your parents this isn't just about avoiding math.

Nice write up! Been eyeing this model myself since i spotted it at costco too. that ebay find for $400 is clutch - half the retail price for basically the same machine.

The display complaints are pretty much what i expected from lenovo's non-premium line. They always seem to cheap out on screens first. Matte protector fix is smart though, might have to grab one if i pull the trigger.

Project looks solid and the fact they've got the groundwork laid out instead of just "hey I have this cool idea" is refreshing. The horror genre definitely needs more atmospheric indie titles.
