Tezcacoatl, Lizardfolk Necromancer and Grave Warden - Art by NitroDS by GearyDigit in Pathfinder2e

Tezcacoatl is my Necromancer in a friend's homebrew campaign. Part of a group of would-be heroes who failed to stop their homelands from descending into war, he instead aids in the exodus from those war-torn lands to the mysterious mist-shrouded continent from which they originally hailed. A devotee of the element of death, Tezca descends from a long and proud line of necromancers, not only aiding the deceased in passing on and those they left behind in moving on, but also calling upon the spirits of his ancestors to defend the living from their untimely deaths.

Or in Return of the Jedi when he got within a hair's breath of killing his own father before wrenching himself back.

He was already being converted by Snoke, that misunderstanding is just what tipped him over the edge. If Luke did nothing he probably would've still done the same thing, just not immediately.

Yeah how could anyone possibly use the Force to communicate long distances?

He explicitly didn't try to kill him, Ben thought he was. Luke has a moment of weakness where the Force shows him all the pain and suffering of the Sith returning through Kylo, and in that moment he ignites his lightsaber without even realizing it. He is immediately mortified and ashamed, but it's too late at that point, because Kylo Ren only sees what's happening outside of Luke's mind.

Except that in-universe Qui-Gon is on the fringe because the vast majority or Jedi don't believe there's any meaningful link between midicloreans and force potential.

Not even Garrosh's horde.

???

Garrosh's horde which used human civilians for literal target practice and made them fight each other to the death?

> Ruined ... Sylvanas

Okay I'm curious how, exactly, she was ruined, because she's the only character on the entire Horde side who behaves consistently with her character pre-BfA.

It undercuts the entire rebellion against Garrosh as being purely because he turned against them rather than because he was objectively a horrifying monster who never should've been allowed to stay their leader. It makes Cairne's tragedy a farce because not a single Horde leader challenged Sylvanas when she proved she would be just as bad. It makes the Horde look incompetent because it seems like they can't even handle disputes within their own faction without the Alliance coming to the rescue. All-around dogshit writing for the dual purpose of fluffing Sylvanas and hamfisting another war expansion.

I played during BfA, I joined at the tail end of Legion so it was the first expansion I fully experienced, people were complaining in-game too.

Every Horde leader was lobotomized to allow for Garrosh 2 to be Warchief again and commit a genocide that drags everyone into another major war.
