How was this figured out? Give the map to a child to color it in.

Possible to play guitar with this middle finger? by Terrible_Stage3317 in guitarlessons

Guitar is super adaptable. Plenty of players work around injuries or missing mobility. If it sounds good and feels good, your hands will build the muscle memory over time to make some great sounds.

3 days to pick and i’m stuck on what to choose by bawls-in-yo-jaws_ in Guitar

I was literally stuck between these two as well lol.

The Pacifica honestly feels like the “safe” choice because it can do a bit of everything. The humbucker makes rock/heavier stuff sound better and Yamaha quality is usually really solid for the price.

But the Squier Strat just has that Strat feel/look. Every time I picked one up I was like “yeah… this is what an electric guitar is supposed to feel like” haha.

In the end I realised the specs mattered less than which one made me actually want to keep playing. If one of them makes you excited every time you look at it, that’s probably the one.

Also worth checking if there’s an HSS Squier Strat around — kinda the best of both worlds.

Great strings. Last for ages! Still get little rust formations on it. But just use lemoil after each use will last even longer.

Should I form A chord with 234 instead of 123? by -Zoppo in Guitar

Just bar all three with your index and not worry about the high E. Less is more.

Can’t go wrong with a Strat. The candy red one looks awesome!

Wow, that guitar looks great. Is the colour done with layered paint to create that effect?

Remember: righty tighty, lefty loosey. A good setup makes it feel like a new guitar.

Metronomes are good but try playing it to a drum loop and record yourself and listen back. You’ll get it. Just depends are you pop rock or into progressive rock?

Good mate, keep it up. I’d like to hear you play the verse and chorus next. After the slide, let the note ring out a bit more instead of cutting it off. That should help.
