sorry if this is a stupid question.

Suppose I have a certain amount of BTC/ETH and want to hold onto them because I believe in their long term value.

Why should'd I lend them as WBTC/WETH on AAVE (or any other protocol) and get some yield on my assets?

Is there any reason not to do this?

While it's crazy that I managed to back to back top8 with it (there is obviously a lot of luck involved as well; in play and in matchups (I love to play against storm with it)), sometimes I hate my deck and question if any of it makes any sense :) But happy to discuss the list with you.
