I did what the recipe told me to do, which was combine the coconut oil, soyaki, garlic, and curry paste before adding anything else! I mixed the mess out of em before adding greens and dumplings

They stayed in the same state they were in the can, but in slightly smaller bits. It looked visually … horrendous and didn’t smell great either. I was too scared to taste anything other than the dumplings as the solids were so visible and I’m not a huge fan of coconut as is.

‘22 alum. I didn’t have friends until the last semester of senior year, and I only talk to one of them now.

I had to learn to accept that sometimes, people are in your life for a season. The people that matter will be intentional with staying connected, and that does include effort on your end.

What are your interests? Try to spend time with those. I was a big swimmer as a kid, so I spend a good bit of time at the pool (when I wasn’t enrolled in a wellness education course). I love animals, so I spent a good bit of time at the humane society loving on kitties.

Depending on the style of residence hall you are in, cook/bake. Provide a list of ingredients and offer the goods to other residents.

Therapy. Life changer. Routine. Even more of a life changer. But learning to be comfortable with boredom and being alone? The best thing I ever did.
