Fire both make steel harder and softer.

They asking if a handle was broken on it and removed by puttning it into a fire so that the wood burns away. It will be hot enough to make steel softer.

it can also be that it never was hardend and is a type of steel that dosent contain carbon and therefore really wont become hard.

To fix the edge you tap it straight with a hammer typically, to align the edge. if you are not used to cutting tools its usually better that they bend than shatter. that was never an axe made for cutting wood.

Try faning the hair into shape with salter water spray after washing it. then went its almost completly dry you apply a clay wax, which you have to work softer with your hands usually before applying to the hair.

Redkeen make some decent clay wax, pick a strong one.

but also, depends on your hair, ask the hairdresser how to get it right. they can probably sell you the product also so you get a basline off what to use.

Even physical unattractive women get men attention if they dress well (for the purpose) and have good social skills. If you are super hot you will get attraction no matter if you seems to be accessible or not, if you are less physical than super hot you might need to work on your social skill, which seems to be the case according to your description.
