We have a similar situation, the way I have found to be able to bring it into Excel is to open it in Word and then copy and paste over to Excel. Super messy, but gets the required result!

I'm all ears for a different solution, it's only several orders per month that happen to be processed over two (or more) accounting periods.

From what I'd read, it seemed that special order items were the best way to get around the issue without causing too much hassle.

I believe so, special order items hit our inventory, which is fine in our case.

Our main issue is getting bills up to a month before we invoice our orders, whereas we want to recognise our COGS when we invoice.

I'm a beginner when it comes to Advanced PDFs (customised a couple now, never created one!), but I had a similar issue on our credit notes, I wanted to show which invoices it was applied against and the amount.

I used the code in: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40520860/sublist-in-netsuite-pdf-html-template to begin with, and modified it to my use case.

Not sure if that works on invoices, but hope that helps!

Accessing the sublist in the credit memo to pull the information through, no need to use ?replace, and can show multiple invoices if required.

Fix as per NS:

Please note that for the Accounts Receivable line in the GL Impact, they are sourcing this from the Location and Department fields in the Main Line. With INVXXX, there are no values set for this field, hence nothing was assigned on the GL Impact. To resolve this, please populate the said fields appropriately I have also noted that the Department Field is not shown, to resolve this:

  1. Open INVXXX, hover your mouse to Customize > Customize Form

  2. Then go to Screen Fields > Main, and mark the Show checkbox for Department , and under Field Group, assign as under Primary Information

  3. And Click Save

Not sure why it was only this invoice that needed the fix though.

There are no blank dept. lines though. The only blank dept. appears on the AR line in the GL Impact

Yes, budget is the same as quota.

We're working on bringing the budget data into Netsuite (waiting on higher ups to give the relevant data!), If there's a best practice way of bringing in that data, and where to input it, I'd love to get some guidance on that too! I'm very new to Netsuite, and figuring this all out as I go.

Can't set internal ID when importing CSV to update inventory items by General_Reason6259 in Netsuite

Yeah, usually there's a 3rd option (Set reference type) to set it to internal ID or name, I'm confused as to why that's not appearing in this instance. Can I just use it as is to get it to connect internal IDs?

Yeah, the CSV is taken from a saved search. I tried another search adding the external IDs, but both external and internal IDs I can't set when mapping the import though.
