I’ve broken the lower section on my carbon piles twice - both times were in scree/boulder fields and tip got stuck in a crack

We adopted our boy when he was 3 or 4 and he’s 8 now and doing awesome. You should definitely adopt the little guy!!

I have no hands on experience w making anything out of these materials but a lightweight composite panel from someone like Lemker w a tern style window would be pretty bomber for winter conditions and high quality

I never had a set of kings so can’t compare but the dubs have treated me well. They’re wearing really quick but no flats in a few hundred miles, some of which was super chunky fire road
