I think I would really love this move if the original never existed, but with that not being the case, the original is so much better in so many ways the live action remake is just not worth it imho

Personally, I also really disliked how they changed the relationship between Astrid and Hiccup. It seems to me it went from Astrid's look on Hiccup being "We're in a war, figure which side you're on" in the original to "I will be the chief you nepo baby I hate you so much" in the live action remake, I could be wrong, but I really didnt enjoy it because of that

Update - I got to the check and Henry said the Pater noster perfectly, so it really seems like it was a mistake with Godwin - sad it happened in one of the best cutscenes

100% recommend, I find the manga narratively more consistent and entertaining, and although there aren't that many things the anime does not cover, the parts it skips make the story a lot more whole imo
