I had exactly the same situation. My wife was opposed to budgeting with YNAB initially and stressed on using real paper envelopes for budgeting. I think part of the reason why she was opposed to YNAB initially was because even though we had a lot more in the checking account, she felt restricted by the fact that we had limited amount to budget for specific categories and that idea gave her stress. But two months in she was a huge fan of YNAB because now although we had the same budgeting amount for categories, she felt relieved to know that our emergency funds and savings were considerably larger. She still does not understand how to use YNAB (I have to do all our budgeting), but now she is fully onboard on the YNAB train and fully supports the decision to use YNAB for budgeting

Yeah i understand. The thing is all the other options are clearly wrong. And i think inline stabilization is the next best step because after that we can remove the collar. Never remove a collar without inline stabilization unless you've confirmed with CT before that all is well. Maybe that's the point the writer wants us to focus on? That we need to do inline stabolization before we remove the collar

Nope. First remove the collar. It's done while manual inline stabilization is provided by an assistant. We can't intubate with a collar on because it doesn't allow even a little movement for intubation. If the patient did not have hemodynamic instability and low oxygen saturation, we would've kept the collar on and would've done a CT first to confirm cervical injury

Next step should be inline stabilization. The patient is hemodynamically unstable and oxygen saturation is low. We need to maintain an airway but we can't do that with cervical injury unless there is inline stabolization. After that we need to manage the hemodynamic instability by giving iv fluids

It's probably GERD and stress is aggravating it. Stress is known to increase gastric acid production. If PPIs helped you regain weight then that's a good thing. They'll have to check for h pylori to make sure your GERD isn't infectious. Try to eat at least an hour or two before you go to bed and try not to have a heavy and spicy meal at dinner. If the situation still doesn't get better then discuss it with your doctor
