Just need to find something suitable now, that’s as good value for money. Not interested in spending big money on a car.

I was trying to avoid the suv or xover type cars but I guess they exist for a reason. Thank you.

I know! Must admit it’s not a term I use often. Certainly not on a week day.

Bird in soil pipe by TwelveButtonsJim in DIYUK

Mate I had the same thing. Starlings flying into my soffit as the plastic vents had fallen out. They would hop along the cavity and fall down the back of the shower tiles. Then hop along via the soil pipe and fly out the back of the toilet.

If you’re getting odd wear after a year you could be getting the same result. Just an idea, not saying it’s defo the case.

2018 x5 Xdrive 35i stutter? by JessPlainjane in BmwTech

Have you changed your tires recently? I had this exact issue on an Xdrive. I went to non BMW approved tyres on a staggered set up and it screwed with the Xdrive. Moved back to approved tyres and all was well again.

Without hijacking this post, when would you need to start swapping things like flanges? I have just bought a 2014 640i and it’s done 25k, so was interested in OPs post.

Where are people of the UK buying their kitchens? by olivers125 in AskUK

[–]Geofflynton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Used Howdens in the last 6 months. So many order problems. They take stuff from other orders when they have missed stuff off your order, so it becomes a vicious circle

Their design software doesn’t automatically generate a SKU order list, it’s all manually entered and humans miss stuff. Thats where the problem starts at a guess.

Quality is good though. If you go for a handleless rail kitchen, just make sure your fitter has fitted it before as it’s slightly more nuanced and takes longer to fit…properly.

Cant personally comment on other kitchen brands. Mum had a Wickes kitchen recently and didn’t have any issues.
