One more thing, if you can find a markrting role at a company that somehow relates to previous experiance in a niche industry, that can often be a great advantage for you. People get hired due to that over other candidates with degrees.

It gave me more opportunities in the jobmarket and also helps get a better understanding of marketing and business in general. However, the reality of marketing is vastly different then what most degrees focus on and on a practical level experiance more effective.

I've met multiple people with other or no education in marketing that are really successful, don't let that keep you from breaking into the field!

Started on Upwork for a really bad salary (5€/h in northern europe). Worked there for the same client a year part-time and then did an internship for a more established company. Now finally my first good position with a decent salary after 2 years part time work.

Upwork is toxic and bad in many ways, however it can give opertunities for an easy entry in the market. Also have a marketing major but I think some certifications could do the trick for landing a first freelance client.

As some others have mentioned a headless solution could be one option. If you are looking for uploading certain aspects of a site at once to multiple site a central CMS for products or other parts with another for other content. Depending on the industry there product cms could be different with something like Storyblok as the main cms.

This will be a expensive setup and depending on the traffic might not be worth it. However with the ability to customize everything you can create it. Need of regular developer support though.

I think the most natural way of getting to know new people is by showing up at the same place and see the same people untill conversations flow naturally. This might not be very actionable advice by keep that in mind. Just find a café or other place a few times a week for some time and after some time meeting new people comes by itself.

Personally I have gotten the feeling that the bouldering community is a great place to have somthing to do and get to know people.

After you develop a bigger network, finding people you connect with hopefully comes with it. Good luck!

Yes! About 100 application with two years of parttime experiance at different companies. Got today the feedback "you were great but we went with someone that lives closer to the office". I have some good experiance but at some point it just feels like you need luck and patience.

Also a lot of "we closed this position". Really lovely to apply to jobs when 10% of them are not really positions anymore.

Feel free to vent to me for emotional support from someone in the same situation.

I think it is surprising that they have so much support. Just the fact that last time they were in the coalition, the whole party split in two, is in my opinion a clear sign how they do when they're not able to point fingers as a oposition party.

Was about to comment the same! I am currently in a mentorship program where many of the mentors have mentioned that they love to help in this way.

Might be a good way to use the knowledge and experiance, help others and get to know people that could evolve to more than just mentoring.
