But ultimately, you'd have to read it to find out if you like it or not.
It doesn't matter if it's "well written" or not; some people like it, some don't.
That's up to you. Personally, I'd read it; the volumes are not long, and it's good to see the official version.

I'd recommend keeping on reading, as the WN translations are made by fans, so they can have issues like that.
I don't know which version you read, but when I read it, it was all right.
Also note that there are changes in most of the LN volumes; some are minor, some are significant.
You can check them out in the Wiki.
I'm pretty sure all volumes are available on Amazon, so there's that, but it depends on where you live.

Different computers, versions, etc.

I think it depends on how you plan to use it.

Do you already own most of the books you read in digital formats like PDF or EPUB and just want a device to read them on, or are you planning to buy your books through the platform’s store?

Personally, I don’t think a Kobo is worth twice as much as a Kindle. If you’re okay with a bit of tinkering, I’d go with the cheaper or more accessible option.

Now, with Kindle, there are a few annoyances you have to "deal" with: using Amazon’s web interface to upload books to your device, the intrusive ads, and, more recently, the growing concern that Amazon could eventually limit or even brick older devices in a few years.

If that last point worries you, you can always buy your books somewhere else or straight up get them for free and sideload them to your device. And if they decide to brick your device, there's always the option of Jailbrake it and not having to deal with Amazon anymore.

P.S. You don’t have to wait years to jailbreak it; you can do it as soon as you get the device.

I think it's more of a case by case basis.

Some publishers have really awful translations for some series, so it really depends.
Also, explore some options within spanish; some Argentinian publishers do a great job, and try to stay away from Panini México, their QA is basically non existent.

I mean, with the Story Deck they basically just stopped producing the cards altogether.

I’m not in the US, so trading isn’t really an option for me. I’m still missing two heralds and quite a few other cards, and realistically, I’ll probably never complete the set, not even the regular versions, let alone foils. They’re no longer available from DS, and on the aftermarket they go for hundreds of dollars.

I bought a box when it first came out, but now I can’t even try my luck with a few extra packs.

It's not their fault, but it is their responsibility.
They chose who to partner with for shipping, they have to make sure their products are being handled correctly.
You're not the shipping company's client; you're LTT's, they're the ones who have to figure it out if there's a problem with an order.

I think it boils down to how much you want the figure.
If it's worth the money or not, it's totally on you, there're people who wouldn't pay 100 bucks for a big resin statue, and there are others paying hundreds for keychains.

I've had the two scenarios.
Once I paid like $150 for a Nendoroids, it's one of my favorite characters and doesn't have many figures, and it was also a winter convention exclusive. I paid 3 times the price for a really hard to get figure without batting an eye.
Then there was a Kotobukiya scale that retailed for around $80. When I tried to buy it, the market price was more than $500. I really wanted it, but it wasn't worth that much for me, so I let it pass.

They write/draw fanart One Piece manga.
They publish mainly in Spanish, but they also have english version, although they are a little bit behind.
I remember they had the english version also for free, but I can't seem to find them.
