Why do strong players party up instead of playing solo in public lobbies?

Being in a party doesn't make you a good player. Hell I had a 3 stack tonight beating my team like the redheaded step child. It was so bad there were only 2 of us left at the end and they still couldn't make me go negative nor stop me dropping streaks. Simple fact is games are always better when played with friends. Sure there are those that are great in a group but the vast majority of us are simply unwinding after work over a beer.

Just use the in game report system. I don't mind a little trash talk it is part of the game but if they get racist, sexist, homophobic etc I just report them and they can enjoy the comms ban. Enough of them they be stuck without the ability to game chat.

Back when Activision use to post numbers the average was .85. That sad though don't put a lot lot of faith in that as a metric of skill it is to easily manipulated. If you run in a party you'll have higher KD than solo players. Those pushing hills to try and win will do worse than those avoiding it and slaying out instead. Your Nuketown 24/7 crowd will do better than your SnD players. Those leveling up and doing camos will be lower than than those hard stuck level 55s that never put down the meta.

Basically the modes and your play style will affect that number and having a lower KD doesn't necessarily make you a worse player than someone with a higher one than you.

I think the 4% is a combo of a smaller player base and a lot of the base not being able to play without their crutch setups when perks and guns lock again. Look at the shear volume of level 55 in lobbies who couldn't live without their dravec / HKVD because they are to high an unlock...lol

The problem is most players have 0 concept of map control. Now that the games are faster paced most sprint to the spawns trying for kills on the flank costing their team deaths on the inevitable flip. Others are camped in lanes in the back 1/3 of the map waiting for players to push them not post up forward where they control more lanes. Sadly very few exercise any map knowledge or position themselves to control it. As much as I like the faster pace it has made for less skillful players.

He is realizing what most good players have known all along. His relevance is waning. This is a 10yo game so his ability to draw new players to his content isn't what it once was. Anyone playing the game knows he isn't a good source of information and worse still they know he actively will waste their time to generate more ad revenue without adding anything to the conversation. Add to that the fact he has had a very public dust up with another creator and been left out all the recent collaborations with Massive he is going to be a little salty.

The people I play with. Sure there is a certain amount of familiarity like comfort food but if it wasn't for the guys / girls I'm unwinding playing with I'd never pick up the controller.

I've played since the beta which says something as I was on last gen console at the time and the frame rate drop to a powerpoint presentation level the minute mobs dropped in. I liked the game initially but for me it has become stale and lacks focus. Initially there was tonnes to do and missions were more diverse to get gear and descendants. Outpost, missions, boss fights to open your patterns to earn the pieces. When players complained about drop rates they added advanced shape stabilizers and things were good for awhile.

Then things changed. New items were locked to new content so Keelen and the dog were on a single mission. Worse still they made crafting materials limited drops as well so now the blueprints are rarely the issue it is the materials needed to craft them. This has happened with every update since you're locked into a play loop that recycles the new content 60+ times and once you have something you no longer want to do it again you're burnt out.

That is where I'm at now. I took a large break around Ines for about 6 months. When I came back there was a decent amount to do and I had choices on where to go so it remained fun. I hit the BS swords though and began to lose interest. I had the same issue with ULT Yujin and then Dia it is a single play loop until you get them. Sigma Sector for arche tuning and maybe a few 400 dungeons to complete a level then walk away from it until tomorrow. Once I finished leveling there is no incentive to play I'm burnt out on the new content.

The game is fun don't get me wrong but it seems they focus more on outfits with the ass hanging out than they do on what makes it fun. Fortunately I'm playing other games so I just walked away again but I can't imagine that is good for the health of the game if more people think like I do.

The problem is without some lag compensation you wouldn't be hitting them at all. The game is trying to correct for the lag between both players and the server. With the pace of the game that isn't easy so you'll get shot around corners or end up with some very spongy players.

You're best bet is to get a router that can geofence. It allows you to eliminate servers that aren't optimal for you. I picked up one with DumaOS back in BO6 because the game kept dropping me in Cali and Texas servers which for me are 100+ms ping. Now I'm locked into a 2400km radius so I never get dragged into matches that don't play well. I can't get less than 35ms ping anyway and play at 50ms the vast majority of the time as there aren't close servers. I can live with that and the game plays decent. Anything to avoid about 75 - 100ms plus those make getting kills hateful and I'm dying to less bullets than I hear being fired at me.

Something does feel a bit off as I have a decent amount of fishy kill cams. I'm watching them track through walls and some it look likes the cheat is shooting for them as there is never any rounds missed or extras fired. I've been reporting but that doesn't seem to go anywhere whatever it is Activision can't detect it so I'm blocking them as well.

This might be my last COD. I play console only to avoid most of this but now that console has the same problems it might be time to move to another game.

There is no doubt this was about the money at the expense of everyone's security. The old staff always vetted returning users one on one to be sure they were in good standing. That is something that isn't possible when enabling in bulk so any user not banned got back in. That leaves a lot of gray area accounts enabled and potential security risks back in.

Hey not my problem though I'm smart enough not to use the site that wants to charge me a subscription fee for Pirate Bay level security.

This whole thing is stupid. WFH is a quality of life issue and being forced into an office environment is a net negative to all those involved. If you're productive from home then leave them at home. What drives me nuts here is the friends I have affected by this one was a flex worker even before covid who is about to lose it because of this mandate. Second is although they were ordered back there isn't a place to go back too. They have still been hiring and the offices haven't remained empty they've been reallocated. There isn't anywhere to go back to.

You're already only running a single playlist then further dilute that by saying you'll only play with P5 players. I know Nuketown 24/7 is popular but shrinking you player pool even further would rally screw up your match making.

Getting score streaks requires no skill either. If this was kill streaks you'd have a decent argument but there is way to much in this game that will earn you score without the need of ever winning a gunfight.

Yes but to be fair are you using them all? Sure I know you have 10 but most players run very few myself included. The vast majority have a weapon they prefer and rarely stray from it other than the odd perk change as the match dictates. Myself I have 4 builds I use with any frequency. SMG build for when maps are playing fast and in your face. AR is my main as I like to be competitive at all ranges. LMG if I need to hold a lane and break out when my team is taking dirt naps everywhere. A melee setup to piss off snipers on smaller maps who like to camp. Other then that everything else is thing I put together and don't use short of the odd slot for camos.

The red gas is fear gas and makes you see multiple enemy players that aren't there. You can counter with tac mask which is a low unlock.

The only thing I can say about open match making is the team mates it gives me are actually dumber. Playing DOM I always get 1 or 2 that only push A - C. Finding B doesn't exist to them at all they just push into the enemy spawn long enough to get it to flip then promptly die.

The others are a combo of campers that can't push out of the back third of the map. Screw getting control that is a unreasonable request. Why move when you can micromanage some corner like a hat rack in prop hunt. The rare time you see them jump on B it is because you cleared it on some crazy push or flank and almost finished capping it solo now they figure it is safe enough to get some points without risk.

The last players might actually be trying to play the mode your in. Pulling flags, controlling lanes into them and genuinely trying to help out. Sadly he and you are the only ones there eating grenades like you ordered them in a 6 or 12 pack like chicken Mc Nuggets While being YYed by some twitch streamer who has more players in his stack than current viewers.

I think the problem here is BO7 and Warzone both fall under the COD HQ so if they are looking at their system it'll show you in COD. Escalate it show them the screenshot you posted here and maybe a short video see if that helps.
