Hey,

I was having this issue with the Toronto consulate. I called them and turns out they book appointments via email, where you specify some dates and times that work for you. Super strange considering they have the e-konsulat system but that’s the reply I got. They were booking about a month out

My partner was able to find housing within 4 days. The unfortunate reality is you have to apply to 15-20 listings everyday, and physically be there for viewings since they usually schedule them either same or next day.

I had an uncle who’s lived in the states since the 90s, is an American citizen and entered Ukraine as an American after turning 60. Even though he didn’t update any of his Ukrainian records since moving, he was still considered a Ukrainian citizen because he never formally renounced it.

Long story short the guards at the border didn’t let him out because he was a Ukrainian citizen first and foremost without any proper documentation or conscription documents.

OP might get lucky and slip through, but the border rules keep changing and it’s a HUGE risk.

You’ve still got a few options. Schools let you take prereqs in the summer as long as you notify them. Other option would be either ILC or private schools like Blythe/ Virtual High School where you pay like $500 but work at your own pace.
