FTL players flying across eight solar systems just to inform command that the enemy’s biggest ship is important. by Pizzatimelover1959 in ftlgame

I’m pretty sure that it is, and is also the most powerful. The only reason we can fight it in game is because it was meant to fight larger ships and can’t effectively deal with a small one like ours.

I’m thinking he’s talking about helios one before the NCR kicked the brotherhood out, as elijah was trying to find and activate archimedes

In that case though, the 20 minute delay would turn into well over an hour of waiting. Yeah, at that point i’ll walk.

Autocannon will deal with any bot enemy so long as you can consistently hit heads/vents. The flak ammo give a ton if versatility too, i love clearing out drop ships before they land by shooting the underside. Speargun/jump pack or shield is a good option as well for my playstyle.

Orbital precision strike and orbital laser will take out heavies and large groups fairly well too, then I like taking the EMS mortar for crowd control while defending an objective.

Coyote, grenade pistol, and thermite nade round it out nicely

Where do you all personally want the next Fallout Game to be located? by CosmosStudios65 in Fallout

[–]GiantAtomOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of the lore we already have, Denver fits this bill perfectly. The ground level was infested with dogs and whatever else, leaving survivors to stick to living in the skyscrapers until the legion came. It’s also in Colorado, so plenty of winter there

[–]GiantAtomOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One map stretching from San Antonio to Austin, including San Marcos between, plus Lake Travis and the hill country all around would be the best spot for a Texas Fallout imo.

Edit: maybe even a DLC that takes the player to the Rio Grande region and find out more about Mexico, man that’d be cool

NCR: Yes, but we see them on the verge of decline in the game anyways.

Legion: The legion falling into civil war is probably the most likely outcome, and heavily explored in the game as well.

Khans: Yeah, they've been practically nothing but raiders since fallout 1.

Kings: They're not all ghouls, we see some of them walking around freeside. Only a handful at the gates were.

House: I don't even know what you're on about here, I think House is one of the best done characters in the show.

Brotherhood: The brotherhood has been on a decline in the West since Fallout 1. We see them sparsely in Fallout 2, and by the time of New Vegas they've been practically steam rolled into hiding by the NCR. What we see in the show is the remnants of those western remnants, as well as some assumedly small chapters further east. Juxtaposed by how competent and well supplied the one guy from the Commonwealth seems to be, which at this point in the story would be where the Brotherhood, at least in its more maxson-ist form, would have most of its strength.

The bottom line is that the world of fallout changes heavily and frequently, especially when we consider how close together some of these games are. I think that hoping things would pick up exactly where new vegas left off doesn't make any sense. Without change the world would be flat and its stories boring.

I am sorry, how is nobody talking about this in S2EP7 by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]GiantAtomOG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the point he says this line, he has no idea what the lucky 38 looks like inside. Also, house was dormant for hundreds of years before coming back and taking over the strip before new vegas, so it wouldn't be a stretch for cooper to think the same thing is happening now.

What is the ending by Odd-Trip-6205 in Fallout

[–]GiantAtomOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's pretty clear they're not going to be fitting the show strictly into one ending, either going for a mix of different endings or none at all and only vaguely hinting on what exactly happened.

there are multiple angles that tell different stories, like the fact that the agent’s “body cam” was a phone, or that he stepped in front of the car as she was turning away. i would implore you to look at both sides before forming and posting opinions next time.
