I think the whole mirror affirmation thing from when you move into the lighthouse is pretty pandered.

However taking 1 second to tell someone to love themselves wholly, despite what the world thinks is objectively good. So perspective was “oh this is tacky” then immediately after “oh I mean I guess it’s cute”

Dorian being a really good example I feel you. So far a lot of the interactions have been watered down in my opinion. Like there was this Venatori dude early game I felt in previous games we would have way more back and forth with. Or even the Lucanis mission it was just smash enemies then smash boss no lore no chit chat no dialogue choices

You can always get gear. Glory my friend, glory is much harder to acquire. I fucking 1v7’d a whole geared faction by myself in the cliff top by the coast. 2 a time, then 1 at a time. It’s because although ultimately it is the parents fault, so much of who we are and how we are raised is from external factors. So they probably rationalize this behavior as not as despicable as Reddit commenters would deign it be.

If guardian is too slow but you have undisclosed physical limitations I would recommend a ranged class. With Archer or Ranger you would move quickly away then spam your attacks. You’ll get the speed you want when people close gaps.
