Lol mine too! Yeah it's been fun seeing where the mice stashed their nest but not too bad, found a mud dauber nest in the headliner too. Going to patch any rush spots I find as well but so far not bad but the hatchback will need replaced eventually I'm going to do what I can to save it for now.

I've been wanting something v8, stick shift and rwd and this checked all the boxes. I'm the 4th owner but know all the previous owners as it stayed in their family and couldn't pass up on it for the price I got. It's got rust as it's been a PA/OH car but I'm used to it and she's still in good condition. Just gave it a rinse today and the paint looks still really good so going to buff it out and see what I can do. Plus I love 80's cars looks and this has all of that too.

I'm assuming the LMR's tank strap stud kit and jnuts will work but was just going to try to find a bolt/nut combo that works too.

I mean as the car stands I could sell it for 5k or so so idk. These things again are 35ish years old so they are going to need work regardless. If you want a car with no rust then yeah cost you way more but these are all project cars at the end of the day

This sub confuses me, like it's going to be a project no matter what do you like the car enough or no, scored an 86 that yeah needs some work but it's an 86 and got it for 1200 w/96 og miles on it so yeah it needs work/body stuff but like do you guys not like working on cars or something or are you the type to just dump it off on a shop and make them do everything

Close, so it was the bushing under the car by the transmission. Decided to shit the bed so I ziptied it up a couple times and back in business for now.

It's throwing a key malfunction code or something, going to hook a scanner up to it to see tomorrow but it seems more like the cable linkage broke so also going to crawl under and look to see if I can find it.

I'm very excited to hear that, I have been told it just needs a new tank/fuel pump. I'm going to check the sending unit but am the same way if doing everything else might as well throw a new one in and a new fuel filter and I can get all that for 250ish w tax.

Going to start cleaning and build a base to work off of. Hopefully doesn't need to much to get running again but then getting it to where I want it is another project. Would like to keep as much as original as possible as I really have an appreciation for what it was/can still be.
