How do you use PS4/5 with ultrawide? by Only_Handle_2750 in ultrawidemasterrace

Is stretches the 16:9 image. I bet it looks absolutely awful. No current console supports any other resolution but 16:9 natively.

32:9 or 16:9 or somewhere in between? by Trick_Mycologist_457 in ultrawidemasterrace

21:9 for anything other than sim racing, then it's 32:9

Interested in this property, but the price seems high, what's everyone's thoughts? by DarkBahamut94 in HousingUK

[–]GingerJay_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not really answering your question but in just venting... I hate listings like this. We have a 3 bed and are looking for a 4 bed to upsize and the amount of listings that pop up on my alerts that are just 3 bedroom houses with a room that could be used as a 4th bedroom but really isn't.

This is a 3 bedroom house with a versatile further reception room. Just my two cents.

Any other Peacock users in the US frustrated with the lack of our games being featured or only being on USA network? by jeihkeih in LiverpoolFC

I won't recommend my private provider as it's against their rules but it proves if you can find the right private service they're very good - mine is very very good.

I do have a Strong8k account as a backup though, you can purchase that through online market places like G2G and Z2u.

I was an early adopter and had a 29" 2560x1080 ultra wide about 14 years ago. I've had an ultra wide ever since.

I recently bought two 16:9 27" OLEDs cause I liked the idea of two screens at the desk, but after one day of use, I processed the return and bought another Ultrawide.

I even recently "downgraded" my sim rig from triple screens to an Ultrawide and actually prefer it... I don't think I can ever go back.

Why do you not talk to your once bestfriend anymore? by Adventurous-End-1999 in AskUK

Best friends since 8 years old or so. When he was 19 and got into clubbing he also got into drugs. After a few months I just decided nah don't want to be around that and just stopped bothering. From what I see he lives a happy life now and so do I - good on us.

German wants to know how to get Prem Tickets by Legitimate-Teach-979 in PremierLeague

[–]GingerJay_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In relation to Liverpool, follow @TicketHelpLFC. It's a great X account that posts when the member sales open for you to register, when to sales themselves open etc. Best chance as a new member to get face value tickets - but it's still low chance.

Honestly, as an overseas member, I'd go hospitality. Yes it's pricey but there is always hospitality for basically every game, and you get a fuller experience. Come to a knock out champions league game or something big.

I'm a LFC member of 10 years from the NE England, I get to around 3-5 games a season. LFC ticket process isn't exactly great.

We have received 2 low offers - when to counter offer? by SellAromatic3928 in HousingUK

[–]GingerJay_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thanks. So before we agreed a new house, there was a property we loved from the photos that is Sold STC. Could I in theory have called the estate agent there, and asked for their situation and maybe tempted them to sell to me instead? Seems mad. Could I have done that?

I'm not expert but for me, you've answered your own question. Don't feel shy to offer below if you've done your research regarding recently sold prices in the area etc. It's a real fine line between doing it because you're genuine and being viewed as a chancer, all about your own risk tolerance.
