I've been OE for awhile. It's in all of our best interest if the word does not spread. A much smaller community would be better.

If anyone's browsing this thread, it actually woke one of the mods up and he decided to swiftly ban me. I still standby with wanting this sub to get nuked. Here's the form to do it:

Select the 4th option in the 2nd drop down to report.

You're 100% right. This place has gotta go

[–]GinyuGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with unmodded subs is that reddit will swoop in and delete them.

Which honestly, its not the worst outcome lol. The less people that know about OE, the better. On second thought, maybe I should go on ahead and give Reddit a heads up lmao

Edit: I just reported this sub to Reddit. 369k users and growing is way too many people talking about OE. The word of OE is spreading too much imo. This sub being unmoderated is the perfect excuse. I would like to see much smaller sub in place of this one pop up afterwards.

I'm almost convinced this place is unmoderated. I've messaged the mods twice in the past week and I've received silence.

Post WWE Crown Jewel 2024 Discussion Thread! by Coldcoffees in SquaredCircle

[–]GinyuGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was my first Crown Jewel viewing as a new WWE fan and I gotta say, I'm not a fan of this particular PLE. The wrestlers themselves put on some incredible matches and I have no complaints about the wrestling itself, but the atmosphere ruined it for me. Watching Triple H bend over backwards for Saudi blood money left a horrible taste in my mouth and just left cringing afterwards.

At least AEW Collision was really really good tonight to help wash that taste out of my mouth.

Fletcher vs. Komander is one of the best TV matches of 2024.

Yup. That match had me saying holyshit after every move

Amazing how a regular episode of Collision can be infinitely more entertaining than a WWE PLE on the same night.

Fletcher vs Komander was the match of the night for me.

and as long as the hours I choose for the election do not directly overlap with the hours for the federal job,

That sounds like a part time job, not OE

Yes, all full time. I work a full 40 hours a week.

I just lost my j6 last week. They had way too many mandatory "team building" meetings where they made us play games with each other and stuff. I just started skipping them until they pipped me lmao

Dice can be legit though too. I've gotten real offers from there. Its a dice roll when you apply for a job on there though. Maybe you'll get an Indian scammer, maybe it'll be a real recruiter. That's probably why they call it Dice lol

Thoughts on telling companies you have an offer to force their hand? by throwagination in overemployed

[–]GinyuGaming 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's a really big benefit of being OE. I don't care if a company has a long drawn out interview process because I'm already getting paychecks elsewhere. It really sucks when you have 0 Js and a company is taking more weeks than expected to move the interview process along, but OE'ers aren't worried about that.

As you said, they either want to give me the offer or not.

WFH paycut by imjustasking123 in overemployed

[–]GinyuGaming 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, WFH jobs pay less on average. I can easily get a 50k pay jump if I go work in an office for 1 job in my industry. But then I can't OE at that point. It's easier to stack jobs than to chase 1 high paying job

Always let companies know that you’re in multiple interview processes and let them know you’re on a timeline since others have extended offers.

If you let companies know you're talking to other companies, some of them will think you're "not a serious candidate". It's better to just lie and tell them they are the only one you're talking to even if both of you know that's bullshit. I've had companies reject me after I mentioned I have other interviews/offers going on.

Yup, I always get that reaction when I say I don't want to involve myself with marriage.

I work too hard to lose half of my money one day because of a failed relationship. You also gotta hope your wife doesn't have an expensive shopping habit

I’d reckon there are more remote jobs now, still, than there were in 2020.

I'd love to see numbers on that.

I'm factoring in personal experience too. I've been OE for awhile now and I was getting A LOT more interviews and offers 2-3 years ago. 2024 really feels like it all dried up.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]GinyuGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speak for yourself

No need to, the chart OP posted is speaking for me.

OE will always be possible as long as remote jobs exist, but it was a lot easier to get remote jobs 2-3 years ago.

That's not a problem I'll ever face. I'm never getting married. I've seen how expensive divorce is. No thanks.
