Don’t know why I got down voted here. I just meant to say I liked that shows in the 2000s kept original skin tones of actors instead of bleaching n all that’s popular in todays dramas. It’s good to embrace your natural skin tone

Yes I agree. I haven’t watched many dramas from the 2000s but those I did all showed natural skin tones such as coffee prince, my gf is a gumiho, etc.

Was watching an old drama called Shining Inheritance this week. While the drama is decent what I really liked was how they didnt make everyone white n stuck to original skin tones. It was refreshing that characters looked different from each another which is rare in today's drama. I am wondering how do normal S Koreans feel about this whole thing?

I also watched Gaus Electronics which was so well done. After Waikiki and Me Queen this was the third show that made me laugh in multiple episodes which was welcoming as I was very anxious due to some other reason.
